Privacy Policy

AxleIQ LLC operates BargainScope. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, the service providers that process it, and the choices available to you when you use the BargainScope website, demo, and authenticated application.

Information we collect

Account information. We receive your email address, Firebase user identifier, email-verification status, and security and sign-in information needed to authenticate your account.

Customer content. We process collective bargaining agreements and other documents you upload or ask BargainScope to retrieve, along with extracted text, source metadata, citations, analysis results, comparison selections, negotiation workspaces, notes, and exports you create.

Billing information. Stripe processes payment-card details. BargainScope receives billing identifiers and subscription facts such as the plan, status, renewal period, and customer or subscription ID. BargainScope does not receive or store your full card number.

Support and usage information. We receive information you send in support or demo requests and technical information needed to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the service, such as event timestamps, function logs, error details, IP address, browser or device information, and feature activity.

How we use information

We use this information to provide account access; store and restore your private library; retrieve, extract, compare, and analyze source material; generate requested work product; process billing; prevent abuse; maintain security; provide support; diagnose failures; improve reliability; and comply with legal obligations.

AI processing and source retrieval

When you request AI-assisted analysis, relevant document text, prompts, and context may be sent to OpenAI through its API. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the customer opts in. Its default abuse-monitoring logs may retain API content for up to 30 days unless a different approved data-control setting applies. When you ask BargainScope to locate or retrieve a public source, the requested URL and related search context may be processed by Firecrawl or the originating public website. Do not submit sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the requested analysis.

Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to operate BargainScope, including Google Cloud and Firebase for authentication, hosting, database, storage, and functions; OpenAI for requested AI processing; Firecrawl for requested public-source discovery and retrieval; and Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, and billing management. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, in a business transaction, or with your direction. We do not sell customer content or personal information.

Public sources and customer responsibility

BargainScope maintains a shared corpus of public collective bargaining agreements and related public records. Public-source records, citations, hashes, and derived non-personal research may remain in that corpus after an individual account is deleted. You are responsible for ensuring you have authority to upload or process non-public documents and for avoiding unnecessary personal, confidential, health, or financial information.

Storage, security, and retention

Private account content is stored in user-scoped Firebase and Google Cloud paths and is protected by access controls and encryption provided by those services. We retain private account content while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Canceling a subscription does not by itself delete an account or its data. You can export negotiation workspaces and request account deletion from Account & cloud library. Account deletion removes the Firebase Authentication account and user-scoped Firestore and Cloud Storage content. Limited billing, transaction, security, backup, dispute, and legal records may be retained when reasonably necessary or required by law and then deleted or de-identified under applicable retention processes.

Your choices

You may access and correct basic account information in the application, export your negotiation workspaces, delete individual private contracts, manage or cancel billing through Stripe, and delete your BargainScope account from Account & cloud library. You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when the law permits or requires it.

Children

BargainScope is intended for professional and organizational use and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the updated effective date here and provide additional notice when required.
