Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and AxleIQ LLC for access to the BargainScope website, guided demo, accounts, subscriptions, and application. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using BargainScope, you agree to these Terms.

Who may use BargainScope

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use BargainScope for an employer, union, public body, law firm, consultant, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

Accounts and security

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for managing authorized users and shared workspaces. We may suspend access when reasonably needed to protect the service, customers, or data.

The service

BargainScope provides document retrieval, extraction, source organization, comparison, costing, and AI-assisted research features. Features may change as the service improves. The guided demo uses fictional data and does not provide real bargaining facts.

Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of documents, notes, and other content you submit. You grant AxleIQ LLC the limited rights needed to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that content to operate, secure, support, and improve BargainScope. You represent that you have the rights and authority needed to submit and process the content. Do not upload material whose use would violate law, confidentiality duties, privacy rights, or another person's rights.

Public-source corpus

BargainScope may collect, preserve, organize, and analyze publicly available collective bargaining agreements and related public records. Third-party source documents remain subject to their respective ownership and applicable law. Source availability, currency, and completeness can change.

AI-assisted output and source verification

AI-assisted output and extracted data may be incomplete or incorrect. Citations, verification states, and missing-value controls help you review results but do not guarantee accuracy. You must review original sources and verify material facts, dates, assumptions, calculations, and language before relying on an output.

No legal, financial, or bargaining advice

BargainScope is a research and decision-support tool. It does not provide legal, financial, actuarial, accounting, employment, labor-relations, or bargaining advice; create an attorney-client relationship; replace professional judgment; or satisfy notice, bargaining, approval, ratification, signature, filing, or other legal requirements. Consult qualified professionals for advice about your situation.

Subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds

Paid plans renew automatically at the cadence shown at checkout until canceled. Prices and included features are shown before purchase. You may manage or cancel a subscription through the Stripe billing portal available in BargainScope. Unless checkout or a written agreement says otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated credits, except when required by law or expressly agreed in writing. Deleting an account ends access and may cancel an attached subscription; export needed data before deletion.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse BargainScope, interfere with its operation, bypass access or usage limits, probe another user's data, introduce malicious code, use automated access outside provided features, or use the service or its output to violate law or another person's rights.

Ownership and license

AxleIQ LLC and its licensors own BargainScope, its software, design, and branding. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal professional purposes during your subscription or authorized access period.

Third-party services

BargainScope uses third-party services, including Google Cloud and Firebase, OpenAI, Firecrawl, and Stripe. Their availability and terms may affect parts of the service. Links to public sources and third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not mean we control or endorse their content.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BargainScope is provided “as is” and “as available.” AxleIQ LLC disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or that every source, extraction, calculation, or AI-assisted result will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular negotiation or decision.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AxleIQ LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost savings, lost bargaining opportunities, or loss or corruption of data. AxleIQ LLC's aggregate liability arising from BargainScope will not exceed the amount you paid for BargainScope during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.

Termination

You may stop using BargainScope at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, nonpayment, unlawful use, security risk, or when required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
